Cendawan oo cendawan....


sejak menjak gila petik cendawan nih, aku rasa macam teringin lak nak buat mushroom soup. hari tu aku ada buat. tapi cam tak best jer. tadi kebetulan masa dok belek note kat email, aku terjumpa resepi nih. so, aku paste je kat sini dulu. nanti mana ler tau aku ker atau engkorang nak buat ker... hehehhe... aku tak sure saper bagi resepi nih kat aku. chef kat fim kot. ish... lupa lak nama dia. chef azmir kot... hahaha... sesuka hati aku jer :D
erm... sebut pasal resepi, tetiba jer aku teringat kat kak ani. lamanya tak makan dia masak. rindunyer.... :)

Cream Of Mushroom Soup

Ingredients (Serves 10)
- 80 gm butter
- 80 gm onion, peeled and chopped
- 30 gm garlic, peeled and chopped
- ½ tsp crushed black peppercorn
- 1 gm dried oregano
- 10 gm basil leaves
- 1 gm dried marjoram
- 300 gm fresh abalone mushroom
- 200 gm fresh shitake mushroom
- 100 gm fresh button mushroom
- 3 litres chicken stock
- 200 ml cream
- to taste salt

Garnish
- 5 gm Paprika powder

Method
- Melt butter in a soup pot, sauté onion, garlic, crushed black peppercorn until aromatic. Add oregano, basil leaves, marjoram and all mushrooms. Sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken stock. Bring to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Pour into food processor and blend until fine.
- Bring the mushroom soup to the boil, add cream and salt to taste.
- Stir butter into the soup before serving. Garnish with paprika powder.
